Iceberg Point

Iceberg Point offers majestic views of rugged bluffs and rocky shorelines on the south side of Lopez Island. Iceberg Point is available for day-use only. Recreational activities include hiking and wildflower, waterfowl, and marine mammal viewing at rocky balds. A network of hiking trails provides easy access to sweeping vistas. Parking and restroom facilities are available at the San Juan County Park day-use area at Agate Beach.

Directions

Iceberg Point is located on the southwest tip of Lopez Island. Drive south on Mud Bay Road. Turn Right on the Mackaye Harbor road. Park at Agate Beach County Park. Hike south along the Mackaye Harbor road past where the “End of County Road” signs are posted. At this point you will be entering private land. Please be respectful of the property. Turn right at the driveway with a green metal gate. Hike around this gate on the right side and then left at the fork in the road behind the next gate. Follow this trail for about 1/2 mile to access BLM lands.
